Why Germany

Free tuition, ranked universities, a real path to residency

Germany is one of the only countries where a globally recognised Master's doesn't come with a six-figure loan — but the details matter more than most consultancies let on.

Tuition-free at 15 of 16 states

Public universities charge no tuition for non-EU Master’s students in 15 states. Only Baden-Württemberg charges €1,500/semester — we tell you upfront.

Globally recognised degrees

TUM, RWTH Aachen, LMU Munich and Heidelberg rank in Europe’s top 20 — the degree carries weight with employers worldwide.

18-month job-search visa

After graduation, Section 20 AufenthG grants an 18-month permit purely to search for skilled work — no employer sponsorship needed to stay and look.

Low cost of living, real part-time work

Students can legally work 140 full days or 280 half days per year — enough to cover a meaningful share of living costs.

Path to PR after graduation

Two years in a job matching your degree (less with a Blue Card and strong language) qualifies you for permanent residency.

One clear pathway, not five

Bachelor’s degree, APS certificate, and for select fields a new digital admission test — that’s the whole checklist.
